Principles of Curation with Anna-Kaisa Rastenberger.
This workshop deals with principles and practices related to the curatorial work. It will explore what curators do and for whom? How curators and artists work together? Looking at examples of how to act as a curator specifically in photo-based art and within other specific mediums of art? The workshop also looks at the history and considers how it could be rewritten.

The session will cover:

  • What do we mean when we talk about curating?

  • How to curate specific art forms?

  • How to think of audiences?

  • The relationship between the curator and artist?
