Making, using & storing plant based developers - The Sustainable Darkroom - Expert Workshop

Hannah Fletcher is a London based artist, working with cameraless photographic processes, founder of The Sustainable Darkroom, Co-director of London Alternative Photography Collective and a facilitator of sustainability within the arts. She will be joining us next Saturday for a two hour workshop where she will teach us different methods for creating plant based developers and how to make our darkroom practice more environmentally friendly.

It will cover:

  • Different methods of extracting phenols

  • How to use plant base developers on paper vs film vs chemigrams

  • How to store and dispose of plant-based developers safely
