Working with communities - Marilene Ribeiro - Expert Workshop

Marilene Ribeiro is an artist and researcher whose work is engaged in the political agency of photography and in the role of image-based media in society. She is known for collaborating with communities all over the world in her practice and we have the absolute pleasure of welcoming her to Work Show Grow from this exciting workshop. Marilene will also be joined by artist Eleonora Ghioldi. 

It will cover:

  • DEAD WATER - A Case Study on how to work with communities on a contentious subject of global interest.

  • Examples from other artists - Eleonora Ghioldi (Argentina): developing projects on sensitive subjects and collaborating with women who have been subject to violence in Latin America and the USA.
