Mentorship 041 - Mother River: Planning a long term project

Yan will be joining us to share her impressive documentary photography project Mother River where she travelled the entire length of the Yangtze River in China. This project took four years to complete including nine separate trips to China. As you can imagine embarking on a project of this scale involves some planning. Yan will be using her experience as an example for how you too could approach putting together a similar project, providing you with the confidence to think big when it comes to planning.

It will cover:

  • Introduction to Dr. Yan Wang Preston and her project Mother River

  • How Yan approached planning a long term project

  • Q&A / Discussion
