Tai Shani is one of the 2019 Turner Prize winners, Royal College of Art lecturer and incredible artist who uses performance, film, photography, experimental texts, and sculptural installations in her work.

This workshop will cover:

• Introduction; approaching an uninhabited imagination
• Examples; artworks that never got made
• Exercise; prepare a proposal for an impossible work
• Regroup; sharing reflections

Notes for this workshop:

Watch the first video then work on your proposal, the second video discussing the live participants responses can be watched HERE

  • Put together a proposal for an impossible art work

    • Include 3 visual or audio references

    • Include how/where it should be shown

    • Presentation should be 5 minutes long
